Perilous Predictions
February’s box featured a book about the power of books themselves, following Eleanor as she unravels a decades-old mystery surrounding a dangerous volume that could “end all books.” Inside, subscribers found Blizzard of ’91 coffee from Up North Coffee, our first Legendary Reserve tea—Morning Confessions—created with Cliché Tea and the author, and rich drinking chocolate from Jenni’s Ugly Chocolate. The box also included our community-created TBR Deck, designed to let a little fate decide what you read next.

January’s box featured The Happiness Collector by Crystal King, a contemporary fantasy set among the galleries and ruins of modern Italy where ancient forces quietly shape the present. Inside, subscribers found Persephone Rising tea from Blackwater Apothecary, Caffè Umbria’s Grifo coffee, Ethereal Confections drinking chocolate, a cobalt-blue Mediterranean dish, and a sticker by resident artist Cameron inspired by the story’s myth-meets-modern mystery.

December’s box featured Kill the Beast by Serra Swift, a dark fantasy that begins with vengeance but unfolds into a heartfelt story of friendship and redemption. Alongside the book, subscribers enjoyed our Warham Winter Legendary Reserve coffee, festive Cherry Christmas tea from Piper & Leaf, Raaka’s gingerbread drinking chocolate, and a lingonberry chocolate bar from Sted. A playful coin designed by Cameron Cerezo, inspired by Lyssa and Alderic’s dynamic, completed the box.
